LCP Licence
Greyhound Express Freight Ltd is one
of only a handful of freight forwarding agents in Ireland
that currently hold an Irish Revenue (Customs) LCP License.
LCP denotes Local Customs Procedures.
Having access to this license permits Greyhound access to
our inbound freight at Cork airport or at our own Customs
bonded facility once we have lodged the inbound manifest
with Revenue Services. This can be as quick as a matter of
minutes.
This enables to deliver inbound freight to our customers
without delays due to Revenue technical problems or missing
paperwork on arrival.
It also allows us time to complete the inbound customs entry
with due care and diligence as we already have the freight
delivered. We can afford to wait for the correct information
from the client/supplier to ensure that all parties are
fully satisfied. that the correct information has been
supplied.
This will mean that the client will not have to worry about
paying any extra duties when they are the recipient of a
customs/revenue audit.
Greyhound Express Freight Ltd in obligated under Irish law
to ensure that correct Vat and duty is paid on product which
is imported into Ireland and we strive to ensure 100%
accuracy.
Using the LCP Licence is not a method to avoid paying VAT or
Duties.
